In-Between Time
This is perfect for me, since I have been laid off and don’t know what I’m going to do next.

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter underheaven…
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1–2
We want you to have the faith to feel at peace even in what we call the in-between time.
Many people find themselves in this space—between what has ended and what has not yet begun. It may be a season after a relationship, a transition between careers, or a period of waiting for clarity, direction, or opportunity. It is the space between “what was” and “what will be.”
And yet, this in-between time is not wasted time. It is sacred time.
The in-between time allows the soul to breathe. It gives you space to rest, recover, and renew. It prepares your inner life for what is shaping on the horizon—even when you cannot yet see it.
Nothing is idle. Even in waiting, something is being formed within you.
In this season, there is time for preparing, arranging, building, and laying a foundation for what is to come.
Just as a builder does not rush a structure before it is ready, do not rush your life into something unfinished. What is coming is being built with care, wisdom, and purpose.
You are not forgotten in the waiting. You are being prepared in it.
The in-between time is also a time of spiritual strengthening. It is where your faith deepens, your patience matures, and your dependence on a Higher Power becomes more real. It is where your soul is quietly recharged.
This is not a time to give up. It is a time to lean in. To pray more deeply. To listen more closely. To trust more fully.
Even when nothing appears to be changing on the outside, something important is being renewed within you.
You are a co-builder. As Scripture reminds us, there is a foundation being laid for your life that is firm and secure. You are not wandering without direction—you are being guided step by step into what is next.
And when the time is right, what has been prepared will unfold in perfect order.
So do not lose heart in the waiting. Do not mistake delay for denial. Do not see silence as absence.
The in-between time is not the end of your story—it is the preparation for its next chapter.
