Today is Mother’s Day, so I took the opportunity to wish all the moms I know a “Happy Mother’s Day.” I’m not sure you can really understand how tough it is to be a parent until you are one—no disrespect to anyone out there without kids, but it is a challenge.

When my oldest daughter was about 8-years-old, she refused to wear her coat while waiting for the school bus in the winter. When I asked her why, she said “Because it makes me look fat.”

I’ll admit it:  I’m a worrier.  I worry about everything from my family to my job to how much sleep I’m getting to my weight.  You name it, I worry about it.  Big things, small things—I worry about all things.
